Chuck MC's bio
Born in the late 70's,
CHUCK MC has grown up in Paris France,
in a musical environment.
Son of Martinique first "Pan man",
he started practicing steel pan at the age of 5
and did his first gig in his father's band at the age of 9.
Around 1989, he discovered first mtv rap videos like
Kool Moe Dee, LL Cool J, RunDMC and Public Enemy;
and also DJ Dee Nasty's radio show on Radio Nova.
In december 1990, at the age of 11,
he wrote his first lyrics in french that were sounding old school,
due to his influences.
CHUCK MC started rhyming seriously in english in 1994
and decided that he would get into production.
In november 1996,
a DJ friend of his allowed him to handle his turntables and then,
he learnt how to mix and scratch.
Around 98, CHUCK MC discovered house culture with
Sven Love and Greg Gauthier's radio show "CHEERS" on Radio FG.
He bought in october 1999 his turntables and then stacked records on and on.
CHUCK MC made his first appearance on his father's album
entitled "KARIBEAN STEEL VIBES" recorded between
2000 and 2004 but lately released.
